nice, nice REALLLY nice.  But see, with it blacked out, it now really shows that damned header pipe that bugs crap outta me....  any suggestions for mine?  Ceramic coat? Belly pan by barracuda does hide bottom of it a bit and considering one.

Is it just me tho??

i see exactly what you mean. i'm ceramic coating mine black this winter. i'm waiting till then because the two places that do ceramic coating around here said it takes 2 weeks. and i don't want to be without my bike for that long especially during riding season. so i'll be waiting till it starts getting nasty out. its going to be about $300-$400 to get them ceramic coated...

Oh yeah  [laugh]  sorry, got your PM and then forgot again.

Lemme go find the PM and see what you were asking, but yeah, think I WOULD like them.  They are reflective, correct?

MrPlease, I would LUV to ceramic coat my header pipe also...you doing all pipes????   Little worried about taking it apart tho  :o  any suggestions????

was it hard to remove all the pipes?

ungeheuer

Nah, not really.  Once you accept that you gotta take the fuel tank off (again) to get at the rear cylinder's exhaust flange nuts..... (a tube spanner is helpful here for the one nut that is awkward to get to)....  Just took my time and went carefully at it and all came off without any dramas.

So nope, not hard to do.....just allow plenty of time.

I use working on my bike as a form of relaxation, so I only start a job when I know I've got plenty of time....  These times are my motorcyling moments of maintenance Zen  ;)

Cool... I'm happy to work modding your bike for ya anytime at absolutely no charge for labour  :)    Here's the deal:  All I need is accommodation for the duration, 3 meals per day and my return airfare taken care of.  Removal of your exhaust should take me no longer than say.....hmm.. 3 weeks  ;) 8)

Bike's looking good Nekked  [thumbsup] Are those Arrows that's taking care of the noise department?

Love the action shots.   My gf has a really nice nikon but no idea how to use it.   What is the shutter speed at or how do you focus on the moving object

just from seeing his rims, i bet it was a panning shot with a normal shutter speed.
