So I got up at the asscrack of dawn today to make the trip up to see Eric (Ducvet) at his shop for the 4 valve clinic. There was a good turnout and a good time was had by all.

We all went away with some interesting and informative info. Even if you never plan on doing your own service, I highly recommend that if you ever have the chance you should attend one. It will give you great insight to what actually goes on when you drop your bike off for service and why it sometimes costs so much.

Here's a few pics.

First off, this is a bike...

This is Ducpainter's track bike. When we arrived this is what it looked like as Eric had already removed most of the body work. It didn't look like this for long.

Along with a detailed discussion on the valve adjustment check and adjust procedure we also were treated to a short discussion on general maintenance including tire pressure, oil changes, and chain adjustment.

Here's Eric with one of the more advanced tools.....  [laugh]

Ducpainter looking thrilled, as always.

Eric is amazing at his job, and don't let anyone ever tell you he can't multitask!

Eric had our undivided attention.

I've seen Ducpainter ride at the track. Forget MLB, we needed to test his bike for steroid use.... fill it to the second line please!

I guess Dr. Desmo had more important things to do....

Find something you love and you'll never work a day in your life... He just looks so happy!

Come on you piece of &*%@! "Usually it comes off easier than this"

"Oh....now I get it...."

If you'll just look right here.....

Why NOT to use an impact gun to get your sidestand off. Apparently the previous owner just didn't get it.

"Oh yeah baby......... how does that feel?" "You want some more?"

"I wish I was just a little taller..." I didn't know Gage was only 5'1" Lol.

Now where did I put that Frakken tool?

Clubhouse Motorsports has it's own Statue of Liberty.

I've been wallowing in my own chaotic and insecure delusions.
