My S2R 800, in its full, unwashed, wintery grime-covered glory.
Let me know what you guys think!
The list of mods to date include:
• Zard 2-2 full system
• Rizoma rearsets (what a pain these were to install...)
• Tail chop  [thumbsup]
• Rizoma Sportline grips
• Rizoma reservoir (also a PITA)
• Rizoma Zero-11 turn signals
• Black headlight ring
• Suburban Machinery Bars

Might be some stuff I'm forgetting...
Definitely will be more to come next off-season!

Looks good!  [thumbsup] What mirrors are those? I like 'em.

corey

Thanks ;D
Those are some cheapo $40 bar-end mirrors off of eBay.
They are mounted directly to the bar. The Sportline grips are about 1/4" shorter than standard rubber grips, so you have a tiny bit of bar exposed that you can mount standard bar-end mirrors to.

Did you pain your headlight?

Yup. Scuffed it with some metal sanding paper, primed it with Duplicolor Engine Enamel PRIMER, Painted with Duplicolor Engine Enamel Low-Gloss Black.
Turned out great. Wish i would have sanded better though.

I'm a big fan of Zards and those look great on your bike.

I also like the license plate  [evil]

My first thought was "holy shit, he took my bike!"

Mine is very similar, I've got a '06 S2R 800, Tangerine+Black, SilMoto carbon exhaust, Sato black rearsets, tail chop, black headlight ring, Rizoma signals, other stuff too.  I'll try to find a resent pic with all the new stuff.

Oh yeah, Looks Beautiful!!

Hey Corey,

Thanks for posting your pics, she looks sweet  [thumbsup]
I don't know if it's quite to the extent that Melvins bike is, being his has Ohlins front/rear
there is also a custom painted frame (hard to see in photos) plus painted engine parts.
I'm not exactly sure how much he's spent but lets say he had a generous offer last year
something near the $20k mark (AUD) that is and he said no in the end.
So I'm guessing it owes him a fair bit.

Can't wait to see where you go from here for your next set of mods after the summer season.
