there is a bunch of talent...but look at who scored the goals tonight...Hudler, Ericsson, Kronwall & Franzen.  Role players win games en route to championships!

dude, you could score for the wings if the entire blue jackets roster is trying to stop datsyuk, zetterberg, and hossa!!!  and yet, i don't think we can call franzen a role player any longer, he was second on the team in goals this season.

their only real weakness this year was in goal for a few stretches, but we'll see if osgood has much left in the tank...

Ozzie has been known to rise to the occasion before (I'm thinking '98 and '08).

Besides, Conks has been really solid in goal this year for a backup.

I love the red wings so much, it's sick. I said last year if they won the cup, I'd get a DRW tattoo. I have the art idea finally, so this summer.


And as far as the Flyers hate - I really like Philly fans' passion. Was the old Spectrum really finished in lead paint?

I didn't mean just for tonight's game, but he's the kind of goalie who can steal games. You're right about the flames' soft D though. It's strange too because they have one of the best defensemen in the league in Phaneuf.

I still think Calgary got robbed tonight. Ladd was in Kipper's legs making contact when that OT goal went in. If Holmstrom even THOUGHT of doing that, they'd give him 2 minutes.
