I haven't been doing well on my predictions, but that was one hell of an ending to the Devils/Canes game.

just saw it...   yeah, he was bumped (unintentionally) but he was way out of the crease...   no way they make that call.  in the crease, absolutely it's interference, but not that far out.

well according to the rule book it doesnt matter if you are in the crease or not. you cant bump the goal tender.

HOWEVER, brodeur moved up and caused the contact. it was his own damn fault for playing out side the crease. he LOVES to do that, and he gets bumped plenty of times when no one makes shots, and he is the kind of guy that will bump the player back.

in this case, i think Brodeur could of EASILY avoided that by not playing out of the crease so much.

either way im happy cause i hate that guy.

Marty tried to cut down the angle and it didn't work.

not really, the rule is you can't intentionally make contact with the goalie...  and in this case, it was seemingly incidental contact.

Yeah, snickered to myself at Brodeur's reaction. He should keep his ass in the crease or stop crying. As a Patrick Roy fan, I strongly dislike that guy.
And yes, I do realize that most of the hockey world hates Roy.  ;D

Nobody.....nobody cried more than Roy.

Yeah, but Patrick was/is a deeply unstable human being... so I forgive him  ;D
I always found it extremely entertaining watching him talk to himself in the crease.

[thumbsup] I think most goalies are a bit unstable.  ;D

Patrick Wah was the Sidney Crosby of his time in some aspects.

Both a couple of cry babies. Crosby more than anyone. Thinks he should be respected like Gretzky. You don't hit Gretzky.

I used to respect Patrick Roy, until he encouraged his son to attack someone who wanted nothing to do with the fight:

Hey Swampy - One of Patrick's greatest moments:

Statue of Liberty goal

Rumor has it that he'll be back with the Avs in some capacity next year.
