Not a Duc, but I saw a Hyosung today. First one I've seen in real life. Didn't actually look as bad as I expected...

Munch

Red n White Monster With Zards over near Fiddlers Green around 5:30 tonight.

NvrSummer

Saw a nice yellow Monster pass me around 7 AM this morning on Colorado as I was turning left on to Evans.

Nice bike!  Think I've seen you riding down Evans around DU before.

Two yesterday.  First was a nice looking lady on a SIlver monster with Black frame and low mount CF exhaust in the Denver West shopping area in front of Tokyo Joes.  Pink and black helmet.

Second was a bone stock Monster dark at 6 and C470 waiting to turn on to 470.

Today

Monster with plenty of bling.  Lots of shiney parts like silver and chrome.  Hwy 93 at Hwy 6, Golden.
Whatever........

Red Monster 696 @ Peaberry Coffee on Arapahoe Road.

Someone got a shiney new toy from Northern today!

New Red MTS 1100 on a trailer being towed behind silver Subaru.

Very nice.  Hope to see that under it's own power soon.  [moto]
It's all in the grind, Sizemore. Can't be too fine, can't be too coarse. This, my friend, is a science. I mean you're looking at the guy that believed all the commercials. You know, about the "be all you can be." I made coffee through Desert Storm. I made coffee through Panama while everyone else got to fight, got to be a Ranger.

Black S*R with black frame on 93 headed towards Lyons (rider in black and grey Ducati jacket?). Sounded very nice as it passed going the other way!

Was it yellow with a younger guy on it.??

I took a Hyosung on trade at my dealership on a gsxr600 and just sold the Hyosung a couple of months ago.

Bike was yellow, but rider was in helmet and jacket/whatever so I couldn't say how young he was.

How was the bike? Fun, lame . . . ?

flynbulldog

I took a close look at it and as you might imagine it looks ... well, CHEAP! it has poor build quality and cheap fasteners and brackets. The engine is nothing special and runs like nothing special.
The Dude traded it in before the paper tag had expired, what does that tell you?

For what we pay these days for Japanese sport bikes it's amazing. they are state of the art high-tech performance machines that come close to being full-on race bikes.
The quality of every part and bracket is top notch, they are dead reliable and perform like a formula 1 race car (ok I'm exaggerating but not much).

I think Japanese sport bikes are the best bargain in the US right now, I wonder how long that will remain the case?

If you want a cheap sportbike buy a good GSXR or R6 that's a few years old.

If you want a good deal on a new one go see MadIson, he'll hook you up. (and I mean it)  [moto]

Manny

Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't want to buy one.  :P I just hear the overseas guys talk about them occasionally, so I was curious. Kinda like it would be fun to flog around some of those crappy little cars made in India (can't remember the name).  ;D

And, as much fun as the Jap bikes are (and reliable and affordable to boot), I still will stick with Ducs for a while. At least 'til I get older/richer and decide that I need another cruiser.

flynbulldog

I'll never be old enough or fat enough to own a cruiser  [laugh]

Besides, I don't own a  black vest  [bacon]

Manny

Yeah, but my mom almost disowned me when I sold my Yamaha cruiser. I know how much she enjoys it, and she's had some serious cardiac problems so we like to keep her smiling. So when I can afford it, I'll probably get another cruiser, just to take her on rides. I wish my dad would bite the bullet and buy one for her, but he's too cheap.  :P
