Monster Colour therapy!

Corse SB in Saukville, WI (the only WI dealer) told me $800 for a full set (tank, fender, cowl).

So, now I need to hit the powerball and get an 1100s with all the colors, I'd even show off purple every now and again when in a metrosexual mood.

For $800 you could get all the componants custom painted and probably get a little artistry thrown in

as an "official" monster site i don't see any of the 4 valver's, like the tri-color or any older monsters...

are the 4 valver's not considered a "monster" or is this just another sign of a ducati demographic?

I think Ducati is just trying to offer more choice in (factory) customization for their current model. I don't think they are intentionally snubbing 4 valver's....I just think they realize there is already a HUGE selection of aftermarket goodies for the older models.

after i get those new rearsets (when and from who?), a 14T, levers, headlight?, grips, sprocket cover and better riding gear, i may actually buy myself a new color!

Yup. Only current "Monsters" now are the 696 and 1100. The 4-valver Monster is the Streetfighter (based off of a Naked 1098)...

streetfighter's a whole other beast which is growing on me.
i guess i'm feeling a bit nostalgic...
that was a short run; 2002 to 2008.
maybe not enough sales to continue production.
so, if we want the powerr the plan now is we have to buy into a whole new concept but with the 1098 engine.

i think for some people it's not.
the 1100S has 95HP/75.9Nm vs my Foggy's 110HP/92Nm
compression's 10.7:1 vs 11:1
