well. i think the spiderwebs are lame. and the rear cowl looks bad. then again, i've seen much worse get posted on the internet, and less imaginative. TOB is filled with bikes that look like this. The best are the guys that put the DP termi kit on their bikes, because, y'know, it'll be "UNIQUE"

The other dealers didn't do much better. I prefer OCC's paint job to most of the bikes we saw for the "challenge". Rizoma bling and a hideous back end. Clutch cover is decent.

Anyone can black out a bike (i should know)..
The graphics look like a afterthought (typical OCC goodness)..
If someone gave me a bike and a budget I could produce something better

honestly, it's not that vbad. Yeah, the spiderwebs are ridiculous and the seat is pretty poorly made, but i think that wit a different, classier paintjob it would look good. As it is, it looks like an exercise in classlessness, but if you cover up some of the more blatant OCC-ness of it, it would actually look pretty good.
I think that the cowl is a little too tall for the lines of the bike, but it's a pretty nice concept. I have thought about making one myself. The cowl makes the bike's stance shift and to the eye it looks a lot meaner than stock. Then again, I might just be biased for the bikes with cafe cowls

I guess I'm just disappointed. They've got the time, $ and ability to make it into something really cool and that was what they came up with?
Are they going to give you your deposit back?

a theme bike is not my thing, but overall I think it looks OK. I think it was probably a rush job and, as such not too over the top. My 7 yearld old son certainly thinks it looks cool and loves the venom paint job.

i think what makes me most sad about this, is that the OCC people/lifestyle are directly inline with Ducati's new marketing/lifestyle

I don't know where you get your info from,
but I don't think dirty, filthy chopper lifestyle and modern, sexy and progressive thinking are in-line with each other.

My 7 yr old daughter says it looks awful...
I think she could do a better job with just parts off of our shelf...

Take into consideration the "Challenge" participants had a very tight window to deal with...

True, but they have no excuse over the horrid paint jobs and they very well could have done simple mods, like clutch covers.

Doesn't DNA require a minimum number of sales to be eligible for dealership status. Honestely, I see many people going to OCC to look at the bikes, but who will buy from them? Oh yeah, Which one of the Turdles gets taken out when they ride the 16rr? Publicity=great. Are they going to basterdize the Ducati name? Probably not. I would just like to see Ducati not sell-out.
