I was thinking more in terms of R&D savings by having alternative forms of the terminator.  Much like the F35 - Joint Strike Fighter.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joint_Strike_Fighter

Essentially, you will take the base form of the termnator and it's CPU/AI and apply different external parts for different different purpose and type.  Switch between form would be quick and painless (no pun intended).

Yeah, but i think the human endoskeleton is a pretty shit platform to build on.  The only reason they use it is to infiltrate.

They don't go turning the F-35 into a motorcycle...
Red 696- You can call her Isabella.

I would totally piss my pants if a flying terminator comes at me with guns for arms.  I wouldn't even bother fighting back.

[laugh] me neither, man

You can see in the picture the "moto-terminator"(i agree...lame name) is based on an endo skeleton of the original terminator.  I can clearly see vertebrate, thigh/shin structure, and we all know the arms are the business end of this moto.  I hope its good......T2 is one of my favorite movies all time.

Enough nerding out  [coffee]

Here some concept art about the bike design that explains a bit more of why the bikes look as they do. After looking at the first image and comparing it to the second, it's far easier to see the organic nature of the design:

I can tell the initial design is pointing to the left.  But which direction is the final design point toward?   ???

If we could mod them, we could call them Termignonators?

I wish they came in the non "S" model....you know something more suited for a beginner.  I only need the four .30 cal. machine guns.  The additional mini guns are just overkill for me and I doubt I would ever use that much power on the street.  8)

I am holding out for the "R" model in the next Terminator installment.  The current model is way too heavy, with all the steel parts.  Plus the 2 chain guns probably weigh 300lb.  Hopefully, the "R" rendition will more carbon fiber to reduce the weight.
