Anybody ever done ay mountainous, windy dirt road riding? I can think of a couple dirt passes that would be wicked fun on. Think Pikes Peak Race to the Clouds.

I seem to remember Ducati did pretty good in the last Pikes Peak Run. [clap]

Yes they did. I got to meet the rider and see the Tard when they brought it to the shop after a light lay down on a practice run. The guy was nice friendly and more than willing to shot the sh!t. The bike was an absolute weapon.  [thumbsup] He joked around that "I managed to get my leg under the exhaust in the lay down...... because it's the most expensive part of the bike"  [laugh]

According to the guys I bought my bike from, Ducati of Santa Barbara had a hand in building both of those Pikes Peak bikes.

Don't know who built it, I met him at Southern Colorado BWM/Ducati....... which has since been swallowed by Pikes Peak Harley-Davidson.  :'( I haven't been to the new shop but I liked the old one on the westside.

I think there is a video on the web somewhere that shows one of the Duc entrants riding to the race, competing, then riding the bike home.

I've seen that video Vindingo, it was a teramonster, he bought it rode the race and drove it back to Cali or something. The bike I'm talking about was a Hyper and it won it's class. Wicked Hyper at that.
