They look mean. What's your reason for the switch?

I don't like the 56's plus the 16's were on sale.

it's better you're not riding anyway... don't need to put any more miles on my tires also, wow... i'm not sure about the wet handling on those new tires. there's very little side grooving for water evacuation.

No worries.. I think I'm grounded for the remainder of the weekend. PLENTY of tread and chicken strips for you. I don't ride in the rain/wet so I'm not too worried about water evacuation. I read somewhere that wet traction on the BT016 isn't that bad at all.

The BT016's are fantastic, and will give you tons of confidence, the only draw back being limited tread life

That shouldn't be a problem with me. It gives me an opportunity to try different tires in a short amount of time.

Just came back from my firtst track day and I put on a brand new set of Bt 016`s before I went. They were scrubbed in by the first session and Im really happy I got em. I had pilot powers before. They don`t seem as triangular as the powers. They have a more even turn in. Will buy them again and at $245 to my door you can`t beat it.

Finally got back from local shop. All is well!! It might just be me and a set of brand new tires but they seem much grippier than the BT56's. Time to break these in nice and carefully. I would do it now but it looks like it's going to rain. :'(

Yep. That's still a 160.. It might just be the distortion of the camera lens. The cuts look deeper on the BT56. I'll see how long the new tires will last.

Keep this updated, I'm always looking for alternatives. The fatter comment is similar to my Diablo to Qualifier switch. The Qualifier is a 160, just like my Diablo was, but it had a flatter profile and looked much wider once on the bike ~

I have 1500 on my BT016s and they still look great. They are very confidence inspiring tires....they do just fine in the rain, I rode to work this morning in it.
