I just don't take kindly to people who act like asses for the sake of being asses.  There is enough ass in real life to have to continue it on.

But hey... respect is hard to come by these days.  Better to just act like a dick and hope people know your joking than just plain be a decent human off the bat.

IZ can't help it.  Seriously, we've tried.  It's a lost cause.   ;D

I didn't read carefully enough to see if you had a cover.  I lived in a shitty neighborhood and kept my Duc outside on the sidewalk for a year and a half.  A locked cover made a big difference.  The crackheads were more likely to screw with bikes without covers.

As for those who say they would never park it outside or on the street, <shrug>.  Some people wash their bikes after every ride, some once a week, some every coupla months, some never.  <shrug> Some people replace crash damage with brand new OEM parts.  Other just leave it alone or rattle can the part black.  <shrug>  Everyone goes about it different.
Occasionally AFM #702  My stuff:  The M1000SS, a mashed r6, Vino 125, the Blonde, some rugrats, yuppie cage, child molester van, bourbon.

crashing is just an opportunity to upgrade in disguise. everbody knows that.

The amazing thing is that this little Ducati is going to make me more of a mechanic than my Kawasakis ever did.

Rent.  don't own a condo.
Considering my neighbors like to leave their trash out on their back deck and I try to make mine nice, play my rent on time, etc.. I don't know why they won't work with me on this:
I ran into this so many times back when I was active duty I coined the phrase "Apartment management syndrome" I hope I don't offend anyone on here that actually does this for a living, but it is a prime example of giving someone authority who should absolutely never have any.

Every place I ever rented looked better when I left than when I moved in

Yes, it has a cover on it.  There are three other bikes parked on this street, all have covers.  They took the cover OFF the bike.  Which only goes to show they were looking for a particular one...

I forgot to add this tidbit:

When the cops walked with me to where my poor bike was up on the sidewalk, they wouldn't stop:

"What a nice bike.  What a great color."  The cops were all too happy to help me with her and talk about her at 3:make the beast with two backsing 30 am.  LOL...

If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.
