Ravage and Blaster were good choices.

Not digging Grimlock, though.

I might have to get Ravage - $42.  My 5yr old nephew and 30yr old best friend will both be jealous.

I agree. Ravage is awesome, but I'd probably get caught making the transformers "transforming" noise while I played with it in my office and be completely embarassed!!!

edit** there is now some debate amongst my friends at work.
we all agree that the traditional sound is more of a mechanized sound (you know the sound, i can't type it)
however there is a small group of us (2 to be exact) that recall something along the lines of  "geegee girrgirrt" (also used is red vs blue) but we dont' know where it came from.

Just watched Transformers again last night.  I can't wait for the new one to come out.

New phone yesterday means I need some new ringtones.  Thanks for the link, KnightofNi.

Friends of mine thought that I was nuts for buying the 20th anniversary edition of the Transformers Movie when it came out on DVD, but the quality was so amazing that I just sat there in awe as I watched it. From Peter Cullen to Casey Kasem to Leonard Nimoy to Orson Welles - what an amazing voice line up. The image quality on the remastered DVD version is amazing.

LOL, which shortly there after I ended up going through my 80's stuff and finding an original (perfect condition) and unopened G1 Optimus Prime that I forgot that I had kept!!!

The Robotech stuff was always pretty cool as well.

I was talking about the newish movie, but now I'll have to try and find the original Transformers movie.

I loved the TV show and toys when I was a kid.

Robotech was actually American too. Well, the production money anyway. The animation is still Japanese. The original Japanese series was called Macross and the first storyline in Robotech is a modified version of Macross. The following two story lines were aired in America only.
