Hello, ,i  bought the wife a 2000 monster 750 for mothers day.  I liked it so much and found a "parts bike" on craigs list so decided to save it and bring it back to life.

Its a 99 monster 750
I got it running pretty well off idle to 3/4 throttle but w.o.t. it falls on its face either while riding or stabbing the throttle sitting.
it has new 12:1 pistons, new timing belts valves adjusted carbs cleaned and orings changed.  It has aribox removed with clamp on K&N filters and stock pipes

I put 172.5 started jets, 150 mains stock needles on 2nd from the top..

any suggestions would be appreciated, weak coils? still lean on the mains??  bad diaphrams?( they look good)

please help me save this duc

Get a freer flowing exhaust.  Or, for experiments sake, remove the mufflers for a test run and see if that's the problem.  Bikes with pods are difficult to get tuned perfectly, but if you get it there it's awesome ~
