Which bike?  Single sided swing arm or double?  Do you have stands for both ends?

Enquiring minds want to know.

You do it like this... well.. I do anyway.  Hang bike, Remove front calipers, remove front axle, remove pinch bolts, slide axle out, drop wheel.  Remove rear axle, lower tire and loop chain off of the sprocket at the same time your removing the brake caliper and bracket, then remove wheel.  Piece of cake.  More or less.   waytogo
OH! and yes.. the 4lb indestructable sledge hammer is always a necessity.

I think my stands will work on your bike (they worked on Matt's Monster), but I don't have the socket to remove the nut that fastens the rear wheel.  Let me see if Duck Stew has one.  If so, we'll figure something out.

Are you just having new tires mounted, or is this for something more "in depth"?

I have stands for anything if you need them. I am going to sell one of my Pitbulls if anyone here wants it for $70. It works on any dual sided bike, and all fronts with stand bobbins/spools installed.

OK....I've talked with Stuart and he says we should work out a time to meet at his shop Saturday.  He needs to get his socket back from Matt.  I'll bring my front stand, we'll use Stuart's rear stand, then we can dismount both wheels and you can go get shoes mounted, then bring 'em back for a remount.

Easy, huh?

What time sounds good?

Extra screws are a sign of a job well done as far as I'm concerned.   If everything is secure and tight, extra screws are for other projects down the road!   waytogo  Termi's are looking good!

Sounds like a plan to me.  What time works for anybody?  I got a torque wrench and a breaker bar.  I just need to get my tires over to Stuart's shop.

NO....you need to get the bike to Stuart's shop.  He doesnt' have the equimpent to mount/balance tires.  That's what Moto Authority of for.  Cool

I handed Stuart my front stand this morning, so you should be ready to go.  You might send him a PM with a phone number so you two can chat about schedule.  I'll run over to help (read:  laugh) if it's convenient.

Nice Termis, Lorenzo.  I hear you got the KILLER deal on them too!   waytogo  Have fun on your trip.  Keep the shiny side up.   [moto]

Anytime, NFJ.  It's Nick, right?

How did it go?  I saw Stuart today but I didn't think to ask him how the change went.  Happy with the new buns?   [moto]
