I think ill order one of the covers.   Ill let you know how it goes.  I heard it could take up to 3 weeks.   Im not really sure if its the right part,   the guy said hes only showing a S4 and a 620 seat??

Got my 80 tank skins in today   ;D  It looks hodge podged  put together right now.   I need some advice from everyone which way to go with the next few parts.  (Levers, reservoir caps, seat color etc...)  to make this a complete bike.   I have to run right now but ill update pics and post later.   Pictures arent to good.  Had to take them with my phone.

Grampa

Gaspar, Melchior and Balthasar kicked me out of the band..... they said I didnt fit the image they were trying to project.

So I went solo.  -Me

Some people call 911..... some people are 911

For the seat I would go with red on the sides and black in the middle. if you were to get it reupholstered custom you could have them do it in 3 panels with some complementary stitching to tie the red/pearl/black theme you already have going.

After that I would probably go with black as the standard for additional parts and throw red/silver in anywhere you can. there is enough silver with the fork and passenger pegs to tie the tank in already.  If you get a bellypan or fairing then it should match the tank. I dont know how these new monsters come together but if you really want everything smooth I would consider painting the rear subframe red to match the front.

Was that a matching cowl in the top pic or an unpainted? definitely match the rear cowl to the white/silver in the new tank skin.

NAK3D696:

I didn't know you had a 696 (even though your name should've given me a clue [roll])
The Granucci and LuiMoto seats are all previous Monster specific? Not sure they will fit, but I hope you'll figure out a way [thumbsup]

I am going to try and contact Granucci about a seat for my M1100. I think the 696 and 1100 seats are the same. I'll post whatever I information I get

They have them listed on there website.  I shot them an email and they referred me to their distributor in Miami.  When i called they said they didn't have it in their book.  Let me know if you make any headway.  The guy i talked to didn't know shiz

Which color option would you go with.  Totally open to suggestions.  I want to find something that will work with the red/red also.

I'll try contacting Granucci on Monday.
RE the levers; I ordered black Pazzo levers with red "clickers" for my red 1100

I ignored the two in Miami and called Scootworks in North Carolina and talked to Steve. He definitely new about Granucci and has dealt with them before. He is going to call Granucci tomorrow and get back to me. He believes Granucci makes a cover for Monster seats but he's not sure if they are for the "new" Monster.

I'll keep you posted
