Fork diameter questions
«

I'm interested in getting some higher clipons for my bike, which currently has 996 forks on it. I need to get clipons that are designed to fit the same upper diameter as my 996 forks.
As of now, I have stock clipons from a 999 installed (I just forgot what size diameter they are).
The only Cyclecats I can find are designed for the old S4. What size was that? Will it fit?

Your forks are 53mm top and bottom.
Monster forks are 50mm top, 54mm bottom.
And those S4 parts won't work.

Thanks for the info. So I need 53 mm clipons... These were listed under the 53mm category, but I could not confirm their size. They are for a Multistrada 1000DS from 04-05.
This they might work?

I don't know the fork diameter on MTS....
Best to check with OnCycles before ordering.

To persevere in this a bit with respect to my bikes:
Will
these
, intended for the (01 to 03) S4, fit a 2004 S4R?
Or, put another way, what's the S4 fork diameter at the top? Same as the S4R, or not?
