Well, I have finished the 750SS that I bought off Craigslist last December; it now sports a bunch of 1000SS and other racing parts, while still being completely stock mechanically, and completely street legal:

P.S. Anyone going to Rhodeside on Wednesday?

Absolutely gorgeous!
You gonna debut it at Rhodeside this week?

Weather permitting, I will ride it.   I already rode it to Rhodeside one night earlier this month, but there was hardly anyone there, and it rained, and I had a nasty cold ride home.   Although I did get to see Scott's new VFR!

Who am I kidding... I can't even get on my socks on yet.  I'll check it out later, once I heal some more.

Hey, if you can come to Rhodeside barefoot, I'll load the 750SS up in my truck, come and pick you up, and deliver both you AND the 750SS to Rhodeside!

I don't need bad touch from Lars.  :-X

I'm out for reals.   Getting better each day, but still rough around the edges.

Super clean!

What did you move over from the racebike?

What did you move over from the racebike?

The aluminum swingarm, both Marchesini wheels, the DucPond Motosports rear brake rotor, caliper & carrier, the adjustable front forks, the top triple clamp, the CFM rearsets, and the Ohlins shock.

The full floating front rotors came off the 800SS Moto-ST "B" (back-up bike), the polished and smoothed muffler hangars I bought from a fellow DMF member, and the Sargent seat was included in the original purchase price of the 750SS.

I still have a steering damper from the racebike to install, and then think the only thing left to do is find a nice set of titanium slip-ons, and perhaps some higher, less aggressive clip-on bars.

is this another one I will kick myself for not buying or did you do this one for yourself?
It's still buy a flounder a drink month

Geaux

Please say you're still racing.

Watch out for road paving on 66, and the Key Bridge exit with that giant hole at N Quinn St.

I built it for myself, for kicks and giggles.   There's no one who would be willing to pay for what's in this bike now; I will simply have to ride it to get my money's worth out of it!   [laugh]

Nope. The lawyers took all my money last year, and we had to quit about this time.
