I have to admit that I was never a wheel gun fan before the first time I saw a pic of this gun.  For some reason the look of that thing is just cool.

Got my attention :D
AWESOME! I'm glad I could help. I was not much of a fan until after I had shot one. Some randome dude let me shoot his 44 mag. It was a bit much at the time, but I hit a shot that I did not think that I could hit. I decided to get one for the collection. I picked up a S&W 686+ (7shot)357Mag. I fell in love with it. It's too big for a CCW. I had a compact 1911 as my carry gun for a while. It failed to fire once, so I switched to a wheel gun.

My all time favorite wheelguns are K frame Smiths. As I've said before, a good revolver ALWAYS works. And if you get your speedloader reloads down you can stay in any revolver vs semi auto fight... hopefully. ;D

One of my all time favorite shooting classes was a revolver only class. We shot 1,000-1,200 rounds over a Sat./Sun. weekend class. There were only 6 of us so we got to shoot like crazy all weekend!

Damn near wore out my HKS and Safariland speedloaders! [laugh] Used my S&W model 65 that has been slicked up by Jack Weigand. Shot mostly .38s but buzzed through my stash of .357mags too. More fun than you could imagine! Everything is all semi autos these days, but as much as I love the autos the wheelgun class kicked ass... tons of fun and learned a ton! Win-win. [thumbsup]
I plan to list the Federal Gov't. as a dependent on my next 1040 tax filing!

The fact that flame throwers exist is proof that someone somewhere said "I'd sure like to set those people over there on fire but I'm just not close enough to get the job done."

I am not really a big gun fan, but Jacksonville has some lousy areas that I have to drive through so I took a Saturday class at Shooters on University Blvd and got my permit to carry a concealed firearm. I wanted a little gun that I could easily conceal. I typically wear board shorts, so I needed one that would easily be concealed. After trying out several guns, I settled on the Ruger LC9.

It turned out to be a nice little carry gun and shoots very nice.

Good for you! [thumbsup] Practice, practice and then practice some more! Look into some tactical/self-defense handgun classes in your area. Maybe search out an IDPA outfit and shoot some of their courses of fire. Did I mention that you should practice? [laugh] [beer] Be safe out there.

I would like to build a 40 to 48 inch flintlock next, some of the older guys I shoot against put up 4 inch groups shooting off hand @ 100 yards with them.  :o

Thanks, guys. I will definitely look into a self defense class as I would like to feel more comfortable in a situation if I did need to draw. I know the laws on what I can and can't do, but would like to be prepared in the event it needs to be used. I have a very good friend who is a Secret Service Agent and he is going to the range with me when he is in town to teach me how to carry myself better, some shooting tips, and some defensive moves. It's definitely nice to have a friend like that!

New gun alert! Just came out! [beer]

Is this your review/ you in the video? If so, I watch your youtube videos all of the time. These videos helped me make up my mind to get a suppressor. If it is you, Thanks! [thumbsup]

Flickr changed and now I'm an idiot and can't post pictures.  Anyway, here's my newest...FN SCAR 17.  Traded a couple bolt guns that I don't really use for it.
