Is a Keltec 32 a "mousegun" as you call it?

I'd call .32 pretty close to "mousegun." ~.30 caliber is fine if you throw a lot of power behind it (see: 7.62x25 Czech, or, you know, rifles...), but otherwise I'd be looking for something bigger for more knockdown power.

Having never shot someone, I can't say from first hand experience, but from what I read .380 is about the low-rung for an effective man-stopper, and that depends a lot on the load.

Tizz,

Is a Keltec 32 a "mousegun" as you call it?

it just means a low(er) powered cartridge in a small pistol.  380 is probably the upper limit.  25 or 32 are typical chamberings.

"Yelling out of cars, turning your speakers out the window to blast your music onto the street, setting off M-80 firecrackers, firing automatic weapons into the airâ€"these are all well and good. But none of them create a merry atmosphere of insouciance and bonhomie quite like a revving motorcycle.

hadn't  checked this thread for a while - it has a lot of cool stuff in it.

I thought I would throw this out for some eye candy - I don't own one, but still want to convert my mint 870express from high school into something similar

What the make the beast with two backs is that??!?!?

I had an awful past 3 days at work, so might go blow some steam off at the range tomorrow.

The problem is I am left eye dominate, so I shoot off my left shoulder, which I just had surgery on about 7 weeks ago.

However, I think my AR-15 with my 22LR conversion will be fine.

I would love to shoot my Saiga 12, but I think the wifey will be testing out that beast for me :)

I will probably dump a mag or two through my new Glock just to see how it shoots; it's been a while since I shot a .357 sig round and it was in a revolver, not a semi auto compact.

stiff wrists, ftw! if the wrist gives, the slide has trouble travelling back and case sits there, looking at you like you are a fool!

My wrists, stance and form are fine.  Think I need a new spring or only shoot good ammo....

Judd, was that meant to the shotty or the carbine?  If the latter, it's a Knights Armament SR-15 E3.

Yes, I'm still active duty.  One more tour and I am done though.  Best thing about getting though is that I get to do the same job I do now, but directly four the three letter shop instead of the AF.  AND, I get to take my new personally owned toys out with me the next time I deploy.

How do you like the Magpul AFG?
I solve my problems like an adult, at the strip club drinking on a work night.

Still getting used to it.  It feels nice while doing a few manipulation drills, but I haven't gotten much of any range time with it just yet.  Jury is still out I guess...

That's what I was getting at.

Is this your service gun or is it going to be yours on next tour?

semi or select fire?

Curious, does the light/mount interfere with the BUIS or the Eotech?

This one is my personal weapon, but it will go out with me the next time I go play in the 'box.

The light does not interfere at all; it's mounted at the one o'clock position and cannot be seen when looking through the Eotech.

Also, which eotech is that?  are you happy with it?  Ive been considering one for my ar.  pricing is all over the place.....
