Ahhhhh come on......don't hate cause I got nice feet.  Besides, what are you doing looking so closely at my feet?
996 forks, BoomTubes, frame sliders, CRG bar-end mirrors, vizitech integrated tail light, rizoma front turn signals, rizoma grips, cycle cat multistrada clip ons, pantah belt covers - more to come

The whole aim of practical politics is to keep the populace alarmed (and hence clamorous to be led to safety) by menacing it with an endless series of hobgoblins, all of them imaginary. H. L. Mencken

When I was training the Air Marshals, I used to preach dry fire training. After about 6 months the "powers that are" came to me and told me not to teach that anymore, because one of the Fams shot a whole through his hotel room wall.

I told them that he wasn't dry firing then, hence the term "dry fire."  :D :D

When I went to classes at Thunder Ranch Clint Smith always told us stories of students going back to their motel rooms in Kerrville at night and accidentally shooting the TVs in their room. Probably using the TV as a simulator and badly practicing dry fire drills. He said he knew the folks that ran the motel and if he heard about that happening you would be excused from the remainder of his course. How'd you like to be in the next room when that happens?? Nice piece...Nice buy...

You can swap the stock and bed it and it will be as good as the PSS.  Bedding a stock isn't that crazy hard and there are plenty of options around.

I have a little 788 in .308 that I got a hand made stock for, bedded it properly, then had the bolt handle properly welded and  trigger job.  I want to put a heavy barrel on it, but just have too many projects in the way.  I have no problem hitting tennis balls at 300 yds with it, which is about what you'd expect from this rifle.  It's not a precision gun, but I am happy with it.  Glass is a Leupold 4x12-40 with modified factory rings.

"Yelling out of cars, turning your speakers out the window to blast your music onto the street, setting off M-80 firecrackers, firing automatic weapons into the airâ€"these are all well and good. But none of them create a merry atmosphere of insouciance and bonhomie quite like a revving motorcycle.

I am thinking about selling my 870 shotgun.

Not sure I have a real need for it anymore.

I have my Benelli Supernova for sport shooting, deer hunting, bird hunting, etc.

I have my Saiga 12 for home-defense, so not sure what the need for my 870 is.

I just don't want to regret selling it! It's all geeked out too. decisions, decisions.

I would sell the Saiga and keep the 870.

Or convert the Saiga to an SBS and paint the 870 pink to match your Hello Kitty collection.

[laugh] X 2!!!

I'm a huge 870 fan. It's classic, they always run if you do your part and they are bullet proof... pun intended. Have no mileage on the Saigas but have decades on the 870s. My 2 cents. :)

Short barrel shotgun.

I need to measure the sucker out.

I have a M4 style stock on it, so I wonder what the overall length of it is.

I know the 870 is a classic, but I'd rather sell that to put the money towards a Remington 1100 for sport shooting. I really enjoyed it when I went with my brothers over the 4th, but think a semi-auto would be a better option.

My saiga is fine enough for home defense.

11 3" 00 buck shells is probably enough to get shit done; if that doesn't there are one of two problems:

1. I can't shoot for shit
2. I picked up the wrong gun

1100 Rems are really nice guns. I got one from my Dad on my 21st B-Day. Still have it 35 years later. [thumbsup]

I'd rather sell my 870 locally to a friend and put that cash towards a 1100

My saiga is fine for home defense. I don't need anymore than that.

Headed to southern kentucky tomorrow.

That warrants carrying my CW9 Kahr on me and my Glock 19 with 3 extra mags in the glove box  ;D
