Oh yes it hurts when she laughs

I entertained myself for hours in the ER waiting room making her laugh with jokes and stupid voices

She would laugh and then get all wierd and stiff like I had kicked her

then she would glare at me

it was fun for the whole family

Thanks for the well wishes guys.

I've got some pretty colors coming out and I'm uncomfortable but I'm glad I'm not hurt worse. Something snapped/popped when I landed and since it wasn't my pelvis, I'm not sure what it was.

I don't remember too much after the 2 percocet but I remember not feeling real good.  :-\

Again, thanks for the good thoughts.

A horse is a horse, of course, of course,
And no one can ride a horse of course
That is, of course, unless the horse is the one who dropped Jess on her head!

Go right to the source and ride the horse
He'll toss you off amongst the gorse.
He's never on a steady course.
He tossed Jess on her head!

;D
If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.

Speeddog

I've fallen off of horses a lot fewer times than bikes.
But falling off a horse, you're a lot further off the ground and going slower, so it's a lot like falling off a ladder.
It sux.

Get well soon.  :)

glad nothing is broken.....

perks make me sick if i take whole ones...i nomrally take whole ones for the first day or day after...then i cut them in half and it seems to help, just enough to dull the pain and not make ya sick....

meh, she can  have mine then.  That's what I got for my ACL srugery and got off then as soon as possible.  All that crap give me a headache...

I think it's time we start a collection to get her one of these:

:D

Anyone got  a shirt idea?

- Really, good to hear you're not too worse off.  Hurt, but it will heal.  And hows the pup?

Definitely squidish. I was working the horse into a couple of corners that he was spooking at in the outdoor arena. We spent 40 minutes walking into them (and spooking), worked up to trotting into them, and on the first canter into one he went into bucking bronc mode. I hung on for the first one but lost my grip on the second.

I think I didn't do well on the percs cause the guy gave me two. I have a low tolerance for pain killers and it messed me up royally. I don't plan on taking anything stronger than the prescription ibuprofen he gave me but we'll see how that goes tonight when I try to sleep.

I wish someone had been taking pictures or videotaping, I'm sure it was a spectacular get off. I'm sure I could have gotten an 8 or 9 on the landing.

The pup is ok, she's gaining the weight back that she lost. I feel bad for Mother though since he's trying to watch after two stubborn patients.

Damn, two percocet and I'm out. You could probably get by on one, or even a half, if the need arises.

You shoulda had a beer to offset the side effects of the percs. ;)

Oh man that would be a sight

has anyone ever seen a dog on downers?

they are trying so hard to stay awake but their inner eyelids are half closed

Jess was in that state for a good 30 minutes

trying as hard as she could to fight the percocet

she lost in the end but put up a good battle

2 of those things makes me buggier than Ford EFi and I've got 130 lbs on her
