i would never submit myself to watching someone else step out of my car/bike every morning

or do mods that i dont agree with to my baby.

out of sight, out of mind imo

It's just a bike.   There is always another one down the road.   I don't get attached.    As for someone you hate, why hate?   Did he take a leak in your coffee or something?   All it does is eat you up inside.   Save the hate for dead child molesters.

It was just a hypothetical question. He wouldn't buy it anyway and plus I would not sell it to him even if I did consider him a friend. As someone has said before, anything goes wrong with the bike, they'd be whingeing that I sold them a dud.

Hate is probably a too strong a word. Severely dislike is probably better. He is just one of those annoying pricks who talks too loud, laughs too loud, asks make the beast with two backsen stupid questions all the time, coughs/clears the crap out of his throat every thirty seconds and is always the first one brown nosing the boss when he turns up at work, "I did this boss, I did that". Get make the beast with two backsed! Plus he looks like Scrat from Ice Age and he rides a Yamaharley.  :-\

your first bike has some sentimental value.

every other one is blah. Unless it did something special like high side your ass and didnt self destruct.

Selling is difficult, I have recently sold my 620 (first bike). Sold it to a kid who looked at it 3 times before he put his cash down and I am sure he will or maybe already has crashed it. Had another guy who was looking but he just couldn't make up his mind and became a pain in the ass asking all sorts of questions and wanting different prices for various things being stripped off the bike.

Bought a bike from a friend on the forum who I ride with on the track and road. I have no problem buying from someone I know. As long as you know the same rules apply, it is a secondhand bike and if things go wrong well shit happens. If they are a decent person they will try to help (as we all do here) when people have problems that need to be sorted.

Bottom line cash is cash, just set the ground rules when you sell it.
Put the $$$ where you need to and buy a better bike to piss all over the owner of your old bike.
