F'n Cyclegear.  I had my tires changed there once and never will again.  Rear came back w/ a scratch where the wheel weights were before and the trained monkey said it was already there along w/ some paint on the verge of cracking off the side.  Looked like the F'er took a screwdriver to the weights to peel them off.  I think they have a Squids only hiring policy.

I think I mentioned that they don't pay their people jack.  I hope it works out.

Very nice, that thing will pay for itself in time. Especially if you have multiple bikes or lots of friends with bikes.

Mine "paid for itself" in a little over a year.  The quotation marks are because most of the tire changes are on other peoples wheels FOC.    :)

Yup, I used to work at one. They only pay overtime two days a year, Christmas and Thanksgiving. And overtime is only 1.5.

Overtime is 1.5 everywhere. Double time is 2x. Duh.

(BTW the wife is in the dungeon for a week for bringing them home without saying anything to them)  [evil] She says he told her that it should just rub off that it's normal for  CF wheels to do that when you first put a set of tires on the. I can't wait to stand eye to eye with this fella.

If it would "just rub off", why didn't they do it then?   [roll]

Update....

Spoke with the manager again today. Had to call him...let him know that I was becoming impatient with it all today. His take (which is believable) was that it has to go through the companies corporate structure before they can make a move. Cyclegear does have round about 100 stores give or take...I am going to give till the end of the week before I make another move. If I do not hear from them by then I will attempt to contact the main office myself.

PS I for one think that overtime should be X2  [cheeky]

I agree.  It would be to your benefit to stay one step ahead.

How much to BST's cost anyway?

Get a lawyer.  If you don't want to go that route, you can always sue them in small claims court yourself.  Should be pretty easy to get a judgement.

I would like to revert to my previous comment stating that you simply do not want to know, but...
