Strange how there seems to be absolutely no consistency with how Geico quotes people.

I have the USAA for everything.  I have always had bad luck with Geico, even as a gov't employee.  The last time I tried them (about 3 years ago), they wanted to charge me about 50% more for just two cars and a bike than I was paying at the time for two cars, a bike, and homeowners insurance.

even I'm not that dumb.

Isn't USAA for military personnel only?

Sadly, no military benies for me...I've already paid Progressive for the year...screwed or not I guess I'll deal with it until next year.

I had Progressive on my Superhawk for 7 years, when I called GEICO several years ago they declined to cover me because I didn't have a garage to keep the bike in, carport didn't qualify...that said, I now have GEICO for the SF because they are almost $400 a year cheaper than Progressive...this time around they didn't ask me where the bike would be kept, go figure...

That's too funny. GEICO always has asked me where the bike lives. I have to tell them at home with two Dobie Rots guarding it in a garage or it's at work with motion & light beam detectors on alarm system. True story.

I Know i am a few months late but thought id add my 2 cents seeing as how i just got insurance for my 848 3 weeks ago
i am 31, no accidents or tickets in the last 10 years, single, no kids, i have over 6 years of experience riding however newer got a license or safety class ( signed up for one in November and am currently rocking a permit) and will have the bike locked inside my house when i am not riding it. i am renting my home and i have no cars or any other vehicles insured in hawaii ...all questions both places asked when filling out the form i dont know why but they did... anyways

progressive quote $1500

geico quote          $1300

state farm           $800 and when i get my license and safety class the price will go down 10 - 20 % the agent told me
so state farm it is for full coverage on my 2009 duc 848  waytogo

Interesting. Progressive was cheaper for me...maybe because I already have a car insured with them.
Which island are you on?

Like I said,  there is no sense/consistency what so ever with how people are quoted down here.

And he is one of us.   [moto]

I should've known he was on the "other side"
a couple of weeks ago I saw a Ducati sport bike (848, 1098, 1198) not sure which.
I was stopped after riding a twisty section and the sport bike went past.
Dying to know who/what it was.

Hallucination?  Or maybe just an ordinary figment of your imagination?  Been eating any new mushrooms on your pizzas?

Nope. None of the above.
It was early on a Saturday morning... the day of the LavaMan race.
I figured all the  Police would be up here so I cruised down south. Shitload of riders out doing the same thing I was.

It is a rare thing to see another Duc over here
