we'll be coming into the Gap area next Saturday, August 1. You gonna be around?

I'll be around, but we're having a post-marriage & combining two houses yard sale laughingdp

I'm just off US19 at Lake Junaluska, feel free to drop in for a quick break if you're needing one as you pass through  waytogo  If you're passing through after 5, I might be able to ride Cheesy

Hey guys!

We made it up to dallas and are now patiently waiting in the airport for our flight to take off.

The ride up to dallas was, for lack of a better word, interesting.  We had a couple if issues with the saddle bags and ended up converting them to tank bags for a little while. Withe the clip ons on the 695 this made simple things like turning quite the adventure.

I have to give huge thanks to Slag. He not only provided us with amazing accomodations but also woke up at 430 to drive us to the airport. Waking up early for someone else is the true definition of friend.

Mileage so far: 350 miles

Next stop: NYC!!!!

^But at least no zombie squids so far.

waytogo to Slag!
I am also 100% certain that this is the earliest Matador has ever been up.
And knowing you, I'm sure the saddlebag mod involved zip-ties.  Grin

I got an invite to a really awesome track day at VIR that following Monday if you wanted to stick around the DC area - I wish we could go to it but it'd only give us two days to get from VIR to Dallas which would be kinda impossible.

We look forward to meeting you and we'll take care of your baby real good!!

As i am getting my track plastics back on friday night late or saturday, it will take 3 hours to drill and fit them (since they are brand new) And still wrenching on the track bike now the your Duc is oil changed and passenger pegs attached. Tires will be changed upon agreement of sale and you'll be on your way.

I have tire change guy meeting you with bike on Friday when you get here and he gets off work to get the transfer of bike squared away.

Of course i don't have a street bike yet due to all the prep work and the sale not being final.
But i know you all will have an amazing trip.

I hope to get down to Deals Gap in October to see the leaves change again this year!
