The bike started life as a Monster.

The frame was modified to share geometry with a 888 and narrowed at the steering head to accommodate the vintage looking handmade tank.

It has a 944 kit and flatslides with short manifolds.

Front forks are GSXR 1000 with Carrozzeria wheels.

It weighs 314 lbs. ;)

I've never tackled any kind of multi-color job like that and wouldn't know how.  What's the tank made from?

The tank is mild steel...and not particularly light...about the same as a stock monster tank.
