Ducati in GI JOE
«

If you just saw the new movie G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra and thought you saw Scarlett riding a Ducati Streetfighter.
You're wrong.
She was, in fact, riding a MV Agusta Brutale.
Above is a Brutale, below is a streetfighter.

Huh, never realized they looked so much alike. No wonder I don't like either of them.

I can't wait until Marquez gets on his level and makes Jorge trip on his tampon string.

It's a fun movie, especially for someone who watched GI Joe in the mid 1980's after elementary school.
But you can't go in expecting a "good" movie, just a "fun to watch" movie.
And Ray Park fans will enjoy his fight scenes. Just like when he was Darth Maul in Star Wars: Episode 1, him as Snake Eyes in GI Joe is the best thing about the movie.
That and the motorcycle chase scene was fun to watch, although I would have been more impressed if it was actually someone driving the entire time and not partial CGI.
Like the Ducati scene in Matrix Reloaded -- the motorcycle driving was all real, and very impressive.

So the Marines are movie critics now?

ok the important thing, is that yes if you want a sexy bike in a movie use an MV agusta. simple as that. the brutale is a different and "cool" bike.
the movie has a hot redhead in it, and a hot brunette in it and both dress in skin tight body formed clothing.. what else do you need?
if you go to this movie expecting "a plot" or "realism" or "good acting", its like going to a steak house and expecting a full vegetarian menu.. basically you are at the completely wrong place.
other than that its an "entertaining" movie as in it has action scenes, cliche lines, lots of cgi, lots of impossible things happen, loud explosions and they try to tie in the gi joe characters and such.. but its by no means "a good movie". but entertaining.

What he said. Personally, I would have gone to see it for Sienna Miller alone.
The worst thing about it, I thought, was the piss-poor casting. Except for Miller and Eccleston. Dennis Quaid doesn't have the hard-ass gene, Channing Tatum should stick to his ghetto dance flicks, and the retarded Wayans brother was just a bad, bad choice.
