Kind of interested in looking for another bike, but have one problem.  Kind of not sure of which one, and also feel like I would be cheating on the current one!!!!

How do you guys out there with more than 1 bike do it???

In all Honesty, looking at a 2007 Victory Vegas 8 ball.  Kinda of want a cruiser but not too sure.  I know there are some guys out here that have Harley's.  Which one do you end up riding more or just depends on the situation???

The wife is giving the someway sort of OK to go for another bike.  I currently have a 97 M750.

Don't be afraid to look at used bikes.  I would never buy a new cruiser style motorcycle.  My Harley is a 2001 Wide Glide.  New it would have cost something like $17,000.  It now has 15,000 miles.  It puts out a good deal more power than stock and shifts way better than a stock bike now that it is broken in.  It is probably worth $5-7K.  There are some good deals to be found out there.

GT 1000?

My formula for 2 bikes is ONE FOR RIDING, ONE FOR WRENCHING. I have my M750 and a second bike that's a project. Once the project is "done", it's sold for the next project. The current one is a honda 250 rebel that I'm turning into a bobber/rat bike. I'm planning on restoring a CB 750 next. If I need to do something to the M750, I have a second bike that I can use for parts runs.

As soon as it's done, I'll be glad to share. I have to engineer a way to connect a rear fender to the swingarm and then fabricate it. Then paint, and it's done.

Do what I do.  Buy something different every couple of years.   Right now I have an '06 YZ450F, in great shape, don't have to hardly work on it, and it beats me up all the time.  And I have the S4, which is a good fun ride usually, too.  Next, maybe an RC-51, or a KTM Supermoto or SuperDuke, maybe a ZX-10, possible even a Hypermoto, S4RS, Streetfighter, it all depends what I can get a good deal on.   I'm not very brand loyal, after all, they are just motorcycles, I can have fun on a Honda Esprit scooter, or a 450 dirt bike, or a CBR1000RR Supersport, or maybe even a Triumph Triple (I used to own a 955 Daytona).   I'll ride whatever, I just like to ride, have fun, and don't like being left walking by unreliable bikes anymore.   Bring them on, I'll ride anything.

If I were to buy a crusier, Which I won't, it might just be a Victoroy.

The local shop where I buy tires sell Victory, Kaw, Yam, KTM, Hyosung, Vespa and more.

The Victory's look bunches better than Harleys and have better engines by design for sure - in my book anyway.

There was a brand new ZX10 Ninja on the floor for $9800 on the floor.  My goodness that's an awful lot of motorcycle for the $$$.

My insurance co. does say my RS is a crusier - thank God. waytogo

I started with an '07 S4Rs , then got another '07 and a '07 BMW K1200S, for a more Sport bike kind of ride.

I then got a  '08 1098 R because I wanted the " Ultimate " Ducati Street Bike.

I sold the one S4Rs and the BMW K1200S and got a '09 BMWK1300GT for a more comfortable, longer distance ride, yet pretty quick and handles very well to boot.

Each bike has it's purpose and they each wear out a lot slower w, 3.

Plus it makes riding more interesting.

I buy a new bike every year or so, but I've decided having two bikes might be the ticket to keeping me from wanting a new one every other day.  I just bought my Monster.  My other bike is a Triumph Rocket III.  My suggestion on having more than one bike is not to have two bikes that are basically the same (i.e. two sport bikes or two cruisers).

I've got my 05 S4r and 05 FSE450.
In spring I hope to add an ADV style bike for long hauls. Cruisers don't generally appeal to me, but something like a VStrom or GS is pretty versatile.
A bike for each purpose I say.

I've always wondered - do you have to top up the Argument Juice level, or does the factory installation last for the life of the bike?

My suggestion on having more than one bike is not to have two bikes that are basically the same (i.e. two sport bikes or two cruisers).

I always suggest the same thing, but some people are extremely narrow-minded and refuse to look at any other style of motorcycle. I know some guys with 2, 3, and even 4 Harleys without any of them really being much different than the other. I do know one guy who has three Harleys and they are all fairly different. He has the full-dress FLH, a smaller Big-Twin Low Rider, and then he has a V-Rod for when he really wants to open it up.

My wife used to not want to have anything to do with a bike that was not a full-blown sportbike. She learned on a Ninja 250 and then bought a GSXR and had both at the same time. For a couple of years, she had a GSXR and an R1. Both were different in that the GSXR is a '94 and the R1 is a '00 model. The GSXR is more cramped and she rides it faster than the R1, which to her is a sport-touring bike. It wasn't until last year that I bought her the Monster. It is still taking her a while to warm up to the bike and still gets tickled that a few years ago she wouldn't have wanted a thing to do with a Monster, yet alone own or ride one.

I firmly believe in variety and have the sport, sport-touring, cruiser, and vintage sport-toruing bikes covered. I sold my dirtbike a few years ago because of the hassle to go anywhere to ride it. I've recently thought about getting a dual sport. I'm always thinking about my "next" bike. The last year has had me itching for either a Monster, 848, Bimota DB2 or YB11, or an early 90's GSXR and ZX bikes. I still think it would be cool to have an old Harley flat-head, a 70's CB or GS, a Ducati 750F1, a Ducati single, and just about anything else with two-wheels....I'm simply a bike whore and want one of everything.

I think a lot about the next bike.  I have a strong, irrational desire for a GSX-R750.  I would also like a small dual sport such as an XT250.
