just an FYI - Lulu, I mean Amy, and I will be departing the 101/405 exchange at about 7:30 and will be meeting at the 8:30ish meeting location. I told Amy to bring the lube, as my bag is full of ice...(s)he'll need it.

My bag is packed and strapped on the bike, my gear is all laid out, my alarm clock is set and then the phone rings. They just took my grandma to the emergency room - she can't move her hands and she hit the ground pretty hard. So, depending on how bad it is, I might not be able to make it. If I see you guys, i'll see you; if not have fun and ride safe.
You may run the risks, my friend, but I do the cutting. We cut down my percentage---uh, cigar?---liable to interfere with my aim.

The final measure of any rider's skill is the inverse ratio of his preferred Traveling Speed to the number of bad scars on his body.

Sorry to hear that, best of luck to your Grandma.  :(

Anybody heard from the rest of the crew that went on to Pismo?

We all made it up fine. Were gonna go grab some BBQ just as soon as Luca is done parading around town in his bike short - pictures will be up soon.

Gaspar, Melchior and Balthasar kicked me out of the band..... they said I didnt fit the image they were trying to project.

So I went solo.  -Me

Has anyone else been run over by a go-kart?

Do tell....Are you OK?!!!!

I'm fine.... swollen and bruised knee

the bike is great, other than the right side is rashed up a lil,

no broken parts.

I swung a downhill righthander a lil too upright, drifted out across the yellow, then like a tard, focused on the shoulder of the road, and dumped it on it's side.

Could have been worse.

Thanks to Derby for organizing this [thumbsup], and Gus for providing us a place to stay [thumbsup].  That was a great two days of riding, looking forward to more of this.  Somebody needs to do the pre-ride inspection for Luca next time.  Did he make it back on that tire??
