hey guys, been out for a couple of days pretty sick, will be back on thursday.
will get that master installed if the part is in, will check in the am.
and my bike is down for the moment, and wont be back running till i get back from my brothers wedding. still waiting on pipes back from coating and ecu aswell.

so i will be gone for a couple weeks, new york, phili, pittsburgh, then buffalo. so i hope nothing too horrible happens while i am away.

thanks

I'm sorry to hear your still sick, hope you get well soon!  Enjoy your time with the family, away from the shop, and we'll see you when you return.  Can't wait to see your bike when it's finished.  I'll prob take you up on your recommendation to flash the stock ECU to smooth out the fueling on the bottom end.

Ha, I'm in DC right now!

Coincidence or...  Are you stalking me?

How long are you in town for, and how long will you be here?  We're (the CAM crowd) are probably going to be meeting up this evening, in the Shirlington area of Arlington. Think you can make it out?  If so, we're discussing the evening here: http://www.ducatimonsterforum.org/index.php?topic=39409.0

And the sugar fountain fairy swore so hard when she came to super-size that stale hope soybean; liiiike a homeless German woman. Who is this super-sizing spirit-crushing femme? And tell her I'll break a tree root up in her shrimp.

Being faster than you thought possible…it feels good. No, screw that—it feels like shotgunning a gallon of adrenaline and chasing it with an all-night orgy aboard a burning Viking boat.

I'm sorry I missed out on meet, but I ended up driving out to Ducpond, in Winchester, VA.  Nice shop, well stocked with Ducati apparel and bike accessories.  Crazy world, the guys there knew of Will and like the rest of us, had very kind things to say about him.

I'm headed down to Fredericksburg tomorrow, to visit the family, and will back on the rock by Sunday night.  How long are you in town for?

I live here now.   Cheesy

Did you talk to Donnie when you were out at DucPond?  They're a pretty good shop, but things have been slipping out there over the last year or so.  They've been super busy and haven't really had any real competition (with a good reputation that is), and seem to have gotten a wee bit complacent.

I'm terrible with names, but everyone was helpful and courteous.  I even got to meet their H U G E German Shepherd that's a gentle giant.  Unfortunately, I didn't purchase anything there due to availability.  However, I did get a set of SIDI power gloves and Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa SP tires (30% off) to fly back as "check-in" luggage from Coleman Powersport (Falls Church...ask for Melissa)...I've never had positive dealings w/ their bike sales dept, but they have a GREAT staff in the parts dept.  I'm sorry we didn't get to link up, but let me know if you need anything from HI.

Next project are the termis and ECU flash w/ the help of Will...after he recovers from his travels to the New England area!

Thanks Will...I appreciate you fixing up my bike before your vacation off the rock.  Enjoy the time with the family...I've wasted this morning away, trying to recuperate from my flight back from the east coast...blah!  Looking forward to picking up the bike in a bit and ordering the termi's from the parts dept.

Cheers,
Majdi

I know!  Unfortunately, I realize the akra slip-ons are better made...but I love the way the new termi design looks on the bike.  Plus, it's my wife that fell in love w/ the way the new termis complete the bike...I'm only doing it for her   [moto]

I do my best to be a good husband and do what pleases my wife....if it's Termi's she desires, damn it...that's what we'll do to my bike!

Aloha Will,

Do you have any access to the paint code for the Matrix?  I tried to search online but no reliable info to be found.

Talked to a "paint guy" I know, and while he didn't have the code, he said that any decent paint shop should be able to match it with just a quick scan.
