Well, as a heart broken owner of an S2R with a wet clutch, i was curious if anyone had done anything creative with their clutch covers on their wet clutch bike?

Any body?

I used paint pen and colored in the letters.

you could also have it etched, but thre isn't much you can do with it.

When i had my 620 and the... sorry... "Dry Clutch Envy" was at its worst! Man i had it bad. This was just before I decided to finally get a Monster with a dry noodle.  I too painted my wet clutch case. But i did it in tri-color config. DUCATI and a very thin black outline. It came out very nice.

I still may do this color scheme again on my S2R

I got a louder exhaust. Evil

Seriously, there's not much to do with it but mod the heck out of the rest of the bike.

not really sure what the problem with a wet clutch is

would you turn your nose up at the 848?  it has the APTC wet clutch too.

Somone stripped that paint off DUCATI and polished it...

Paints already been suggested - but maybe you could get more creative with it.  Perhaps using the circle on the 'face' of the clutch cover as a guide you could paint it with the Duacti dynamic D logo, and paint the type to contrast...

I'd turn my nose to it because I think it's ugly.  Cheesy

749 for me, please, if I'm in the market for that level of bike

I don't believe the dry clutch Ducatista should have all the fun -- thus there is something in the works this Fall specifically for the "wet clutch" people.  Just be patient.  Everyone who has seen the prototype has wanted one for their bike so far.  But they have all been forced to sign non-disclosure agreements also for now too!  Grin
