Just to be fair Tress is .500 in BCS bowl games. That includes a National Championship against a Miami team that most talking heads were calling one of the best teams ever.  Stoops is 2 of 8 with one NC.

That was not Tressels recruiting class and it took a super human effort to win it.

I'm disappointed in the play of my Horns this year, and Bama deserves to jump up in the polls. Last year, Texas played like more than the sum of its parts; this year, it's less. The talent level has been down the last couple of years, but now it's really starting to show, especially at HB. How on earth does the UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS not have a star RB right now?! We only lost a few senior starters, but it seems to have made quite a difference, especially the loss of Quan Cosby at WR. Hope we start improving dramatically against OU, like we did last year.

+1 Either Tulsa is way better than their unranked status indicates, or (and this is more likely) Boise State is like Notre Dame and is way O V E R-----R A T E D!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Boise beat Tulsa last night and, in doing so, probably made the case that it is barely a Top 10 team.

I'm guessing they'll drop a couple places after that game.

I think they deserve to be top 10...I don't know about #5 though. That said...all teams have a sub par game once in a while, usually an away game. At least Boise won theirs! Look at Oregon...they're looking very tough lately, and are ranked 13...but laid a serious egg against Boise, as they were flat dominated the entire game. It is very hard to look flawless for an entire season.

If Boise goes undefeated this year they will deserve a BCS bowl game, whether people think they are overrated or not. Two undefeated seasons in a row is very difficult...even in the WAC...and should earn Boise the opportuniy to prove they aren't overrated.

Oklahoma a few years ago, and Oregon this year also thought Boise State was over-rated. They seem to have the ability to go to the well and do what it takes to beat whoever they're playing.  Can you imagine the team that Coach Peterson could put together if he worked for one of the majors schools?

I knew we'd get our revenge for the ND-Nevada game when ND-USC time came!   But I have to hand it to ND, they didn't go quietly.

I agree hands down that Boise deserves a BCS bowl game, just not THE bowl game.  Should be interesting when the BCS rankings come out tonight given the upsets that occured yesterday.
