Although some people claim that the BCS generates passion.... proven by the fact that people argue about it non stop... Frankly, I would prefer to have it played out on the field and not in somebody's wallet.

No...I thought the score was more lopsided. That's not whooped at all.

reminded me of this for some reason

How about some Heisman arguements discussions?  :)

I'd vote:
1) Suh
2) Gerhart
3) Ingram
4) McCoy
5) Tebow

I don't think the last two should have gotten the invite this year - they only got it because of what they did last year.  I know they both had decent numbers, but you have to come up big in the big games and I'd argue that their competition this year was lacking.

pretty close IMO, maybe switch 1 & 2 though.  I just don't see a defense player getting it on a par team, but maybe he should.  I only watched Suh in 2 games - VS TX he was awesome, VS Iowa State he was pretty good, but not like the TX display.

My list

1.  Tressel
2.  TP
3.   TP
4.  TP
5. Gerhart.

;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Seriously, Gerhart should get it.  He consistently had great games.  Ingram maybe but he had a game with 30 yds which should disqualifies him.  I really don't care who gets it as long as its not Teblow.  It'll probably be Colt though and really he should have got it last year so whats the difference.

By the way ZLTFUl, From Tressels Bio-
After graduating from Berea High School in 1971, Jim played quarterback under his      father at Baldwin-Wallace. As quarterback, he earned four varsity letters and won all-conference honors as a senior in 1974.
Maybe he learned coaching from his College Football Hall of Fame father who has also won a National Championship.  Probably not from playing 4 years of QB.

I would vote for Gerhart or Ingram... I just hope Masoli keeps improving and can compete at the same level next year. Dennis Dixon was there till his knee injury... Ducks always have injury issues at QB with the spread.

Navy's wearing a pretty slick uniform today, of course they had to use USMC colors to do it.  :D  GO ARMY

Congrats to Ingram but now I feel bad for Bama.  Maybe the Heisman voters wanted to give Texas the NC.

Heisman winners are 1-6 in BCS NC games.

Went to the BYU/Oregon St. game in Vegas.

So windy and so cold (not typical of Vegas).  Great game, Cougars!

Lots of football to be had in the next couple of weeks.

'Bama's never, ever beat Texas, in 8 meetings. We tied them once, back in the day.

We finally got our Heisman... now if we could just have a nice big juicy Longhorn steak ( ;D ) on Jan. 7th, I'd be a super happy boy.

That is all.

Big Red, way to go (so far)!
For everyone who's been bagging on Texas, here's a thought: Nebraska's pretty good. All it took to fix their offense was a PAC 10 defense.
