Screw it for the money the newer corvettes give you the most bang for your buck. All of the ferrari's are a pain to drive around town.  The Vette is comfy and then the claws come out when you stomp on the gas. And much much cheaper.

Compared to the 599 at almost $400,000 it is reasonable at a base price $200,000. ( 565 hp )

No room for groceries.      :(

The BMW MX-6 for $100,000 has 547 hp and room for groceries.

The all new Porsche Panamera 4 door base model for $100,000 ,400 hp and put the groceries in the back seat.    :)

I used to go grocery shopping on the monster so this is a mute point. Practicality is overrated.

My hope is that the rumors are true and VW will kill the Panamera (and Cayenne) at the end of its current life cycle.
Why should you care if those models are discontinued ? ???

My personal opinion is that Porsche should focus on sports cars, not sedans or SUVs.

It sounds like with the new structure at VW/Audi/Porsche, that has a possibility of happening again.

Porsche still makes the Boxster,Boxster S, Cayman, Cayman S and several variants of the venerable 911 (Carrera S, Carrera 4S, GT2, GT3, (911 Turbo and the Cabriolet version of some of those 911s ).

What makes you think Porsche is not going to continue to focus on their bread and butter 911s and all it's iterations.

They are trying to do what BMW , Maserati, and Mercedes has done and that is to pick up a little bit of the market share of the high end SUV market and same thing with the high end Sedan market like Maserati or Mercedes has.
