Apparently the bike creates so much power they need to extend the back wheel out that far.

Its a hill climber. It wont fit in the back of the truck so he rides it to the hill climb and then changes wheels and front forks once he gets there.

His girlfriend drives the chevy Geo to the climb with the extra set of wheels that have the sand tires already mounted, and the set of forks from an RM400. She also brings the PB&J sandwiches. They got special financing for the Geo at 17.2% on the 2,500 loan.

he is talking about the lack of use of gardening implements used in place of actual parts on the bike

I dig the IZ_ headlamp. Plus the fact that it is "professionally built".   laughingdp

I'd like to meet those "professionals"  Grin

Somehow I don't think I'd be very impressed or want them to build me a bike.

This guy is sniffing too much glue.  $4500 for this piece of crap?  I like the "plastics are worth a grand alone" comment.   Grin

A '78 CB750 in decent shape would be worth $4500.  A 1981 CB900 bobber?  Maybe $1500... and that's stretching it.

waytogo I went on e-bay to see what the "plastics" on an early 80s CB900 sell for.  The side covers (which are hacked up on this bike) go for around $30-50 each if they have original paint and look decent.  The rear seat cowl maybe $80.  This entire bike isn't worth $1000.
