No silencers just right out of the udder, is it possible ?

As mentioned, this has been done many, many times.  Try a search.   :)

tryed it on my S4RS sounded lie a Harley (not my bag) put the pipes back on.

Yes it is possible, I did it briefly on my S2R 1000, I thought it sounded a bit abrasive, like a poor running chainsaw, not the classic Ducati growl.  I since went to fully cored cans with perforated tubing and packing and even the addition of those (with full udder, stock air box) I could detect a slight change in the way the bike performs.  It is a bit slower to start and twice it has died on me (in 4,000 miles) as I have come up to stoplights.  The two stalls may not be related but it never did it before I opened up/removed the cans.  The slower starting I feel is related to being a bit leaner but I do not have any other symptoms of running lean and the bike runs well.  The small problems I explained,  I expect you to have, but IMO it is a small price to pay for unlocking the sweet sound.  It will be up for you to decide if you like the straight out of the udder sound.

ran my 06 s2r1k with only the udder for the first 5k....no problems.
except that it was way too loud.
I'm here for a good time, but not a long time.

6k miles with just the udder, no problems. Sounds like zards, even people who own zards told me it sounds like zards. Mine have the "presilencers"  and cat material still in them.

I ran my udder for about a month while my current exhaust was being finished.  No issues with the performance.  Very, very ugly.  Sound wasn't bad, but a little harsh and and loud on decel.  I will say that if I had tried it before I bought my old Termignoni setup, I would have stayed with the udder and kept the $1800 for something else.  I love my current exhaust (termi headers / Motocreations extensions) but $ for $, I lost my ass on selling the Termi slipons.
I thought someone made a carbon udder cover.  If so, it might be an option for the looks.

^^precisely.
especially when you are comparing it to the exbox from quat-d.
the difference in sound is negligible, and the exbox doesn't look that much better.
save your money until you come across a nice used set of zards or something.

i looked into putting in baffles to tighten up the sound but it turned into more than a one rainy day project so i quit screwing with it.

I ran around on my 07S2R1K with just the udder for about 3000 miles (and as stated above) I had no issues.
Eventually went with a set of BoomTubes from Mark over at Motocreations becasue I couldnt stand the look of the udder hangin off the
bottom of the bike (and also wanted to keep the back wheel open/clean)...

actually, i put an ex-box on when i stopped running just the udder.
IMO there is a huge difference, both in sound and looks.
the ex box is way quieter, and the lines are better than the udder as well.
plus, i wanted to get rid up the pipes getting in the way of my right heel...

Hey guys, a little consideration here?  Remember when NYC was going to ticket bikes without an EPA sticker on the exhaust system?  Since the ordinance didn't apply to cars and trucks it is biased, but it is a response to unmuffled motorcycle noise that is not appreciated by everyone.

Whether you like it or not, there are going to be more communities that enforce noise and EPA regs, and running open exhausts is going to cause that to happen sooner rather than later.

Don't get me wrong, I love the sound of my Termis, but running open exhausts is not going to fly for much longer.  Yes, you can swap the stockers back on to get an inspection sticker.  If you read the information in the aftermarket exhaust packaging, it says "for off-road use only" or something like that.  The manufacturer is off the hook.  That leaves you.

Just consider the long-term consequences.  OK, off the soapboax and back to your regular scheduled posts.
