He caught him flush on the button with a decent shot that stunned him.
If he hadn't already been off-balance I don't know that he'd have gone down as hard, but since he was/did, Weidman had the opportunity to pounce and land a couple of really solid shots.

it was not the best technique I've ever seen, but it was effective. Just goes to show the "puncher's luck". He hit him on the button, practically removed his chin.

The new Fox Sports 1 is gonna cover a lot of UFC. They bought the SPEED channel which doesn't exist anymore

Just saw that over in Racing section.  At least I can check out the GP at Dicati Newport Beach. TUF starts 9/4. Argh..going to miss Rousey coaching. |

TV addicts.  We're saving time and a few bucks just going with NetFlix as opposed to DirectTV. Too many things to do out here in SoCal instead of wasting time in front of TV. I May subscribe for next season. Since Newport Duc shows the races though, I'll be going over there now. |
