what a weird knock out.  glancing blow breaks his jaw?
No I'm reading now that he was and is fine physically.  :'( Which means he was just a poor sport in a decisive loss against someone he thought he was going to run over.

I wouldn't have expected that from Forest. The last 2 fights actually made it worth getting. No one has mentioned the crappy under card, like the early stoppage and boring ass fights.

Ah, snap I completely forgot in the Forrest debacle. I'd been looking forward to finally seeing Amir<sp?> fight again. He'd disappeared from all but the promo's since TUF. I don't think he'd have lasted much longer but he was clearly getting to his feet when the ref called the stoppage. Complete BS and I was hot about that right up till the "knockout" then I forgot. Completely agree though DC after UFC100 the undercard at 101 was a snoozefest.

The one thing that I liked was that they showed a whole bunch of the under card. All other UFC's they would show previews and interviews as filler. Now, they played the fights.  [thumbsup] for more fights, less yap.

I thought that the UFC relaxing the prohibition on elbows from the bottom would help eliminate boring bouts where wrestlers planted their faces in the chest of downed opponents and worked the lay'n'pray offense, but 101 just proved me wrong.  Pellegrino and Almedia were real snoozers... but as long as judges keep awarding rounds based on top control, we're going to keep seeing it.

///not really ranting about judging.

It worked in the Diego v Guida fight. Top control shouldn't be awarded unless it is leading to offensive manuevers.

Don't like it but it could be good for the sport if they portray mma in a good light.

Musical icons like Donny Osmond, Macy Grey, Mya, Aaron Carter and Kelly Osborne will be on Dancing with the Stars Season 9. The sports demographic is represented by Michael Irvin, Olympic swimmer Natalie Coughlin, and boxer Chuck Liddell. The actors in the new cast are Melissa Joan Hart, Debi Mazer, and Ashley Hamilton - whose father George was a Season 2 contestant.

The rest of the Dancing with the Stars 2009 lineup has Iron Chef America's Mark Dacascos, models Kathy Ireland and Joanna Krupa, and snowboarder Louie Vito.

For Dancing with the Stars Season 9, things will be done a little different in mid-season, according to host Tom Bergeron. Three double eliminations will be held back-to-back at that time, while dances like the Charleston, the Lambada, the Two Step and the Bolero are worked into the rotation

Why are we talking about the lambada on an MMA thread?
