As a soon to be 696 owner, I cannot wait to use this new site as a resource.  I had done much research on the unmentionable site, but as a newbie, I gotta go where the knowledge is.  I'm here.  Thanks for getting this going.  I hope to contribute later as I get to know my bike.

Ciao baby!

Since moving here from the "other" board, I can honestly say that my epileptic seizures are now gone. [moto]

I have read most of the posts within this thread and it is clear that we all want to maintain a "community" of interest feel and presence about the passion of our Ducati Monsters.  I think the real issue is how we all remain vigilant in maintaining this ethos.  The previous site would have started out with all the same and right intension but as they grow and build the actual essence of why it was created and what is actually the "life blood" of the site is completely lost.

So lets all remember what has happened.. support the people who have put in an incredible amount of person time and effort and where possible support the companies that support this site. I know from now on I will buy from companies that are behind this site over and above the others...  So lets hope they come on board.

Great work guys... and bring on the T-shirts, Logos and other stuff... I have got rid of the DML stuff..

I'm soooo pleased that you guys have started this forum. The only fun thing at the other place now is watching guys get banned. I hope to contribute here in the future but for a while I'll be asking for help. Thanks so much!

So, I guess everyone is here. How about making regional board like we used to have? It really helps to coordinate rides, meets, etc.

My first post on the un-clutered forum.  I used to hang out in the other site, as most of us did.  I only got to experience the original version for a few months but they were very informative and helped me in my purchase decision of an '08 M695.
Thanks for not having all those blinking ads here, if I wanted to be annoyed by ads i would just surf for porn.

Thanks again for creating this new place to chill.

Hey Guys and Dolls!

A couple of days ago I came back from vacation, posted some new pics (as allways  Roll Eyes) and didn't quite understand what was happening and why. That came later.

But I'm glad to have found you!!! (Took me some time, though...).
Thank you for this new place!
