i want to paint my tank black but i figured i would see if anyone wanted this tank before i went off and got it painted. So if anyone would be interested in trading tanks or whatnot just let me know. it has a few small knicks in it near the seat buy thats about it. i live off of george bush and coit if you wanted to look at it. sorry about the phone pics but its the best i can do. also its on a 2000 750 idk if that makes a difference if someone wanted to trade.

It'd be a nice tank to keep or have but it is from a carbed bike I think and many bikes in our group, at least those you called, out except for Bueller have FI and the tank won't fit.  But yeah, don't paint over it.

well i just think i would personally like a black tank better (i think i would really like the black with the gold frame and wheels.).... i think this is a pretty sweet tank its just not really me, so thats why i figured instead of having it painted someone might like this one for their bike....

maybe ill put this one up on ebay and just buy a black one if no one here is interested in it.

how hard would it be to convert that to some sort of awesome beer dispenser/keg device?  that would be possibly the coolest thing ever...

If you need help with fabrication, once the PugglePod is done, I can find time.

In all seriousness, I think getting rid of all the gasoline residue inside would be a problem.  There are certain things in there, I imagine, that you would not want mixed with your beer.

Other than that, since this is from a carbed bike, all you need is (BRAIN FART: what do you call that thingamajigger that turns the gas flow to the carbs on and off?  Man, I need more sleep)... You can buy a new one for next to nothing anyway.  If you really want it as a beer dispenser, then a way to pump pressure into the tank would be nice.  Maybe fabricating a keg pump thing into the gas cap, and shutting the breather "holes" in the tank.

But really, there must be someone out there who wants this for their bike.  If nothing else, sell it on ebay and buy a dark tank for half of what you got.
