The 2010 Ducati 848 Dark is painted in matte black and will retail for $1,000 less than the regular 848.  The 848 Dark doesn't downgrade its spec to achieve the lower price and actually benefits from the same upgrades as the rest of the 2010 848 range: aluminum cam belt tensioner pulleys, LED dash and 30mm mirror extension kit.

How much do you think I could get on trade towards that bike for a 2007 GT1000 with bad valve guides and over 45,000 miles on it?  Smiley  nice.  very nice.  Finally in black!

It's like an 848 with free race body work.   That is if you go and buy race body work after buying the dark.
