I like it in red.  I rode a Griso 1100 a few months back and really liked it a lot, but went with my current Monster instead.  I thought the Guzzi engine was more relaxed than Ducati's DS1000, but might make a better touring bike motor.  So here it is with even more power.  When I'm ready for a sporty touring bike, I may consider a Norge or a used ST3.

I think the current Norge 1200 GT has an MSRP around $15K.  So this bike might be a $500 more.  This is just a guess though.  It will also probably take about a year and a half to ever make it to the U.S.

I was recently in Italy and Greece and noticed a couple of Norges (pretty sure they were at least) - these are good looking bikes! One was loaded up sky high with luggage and looked like it had seen half of Europe too.

I have been eying the current version of this bike, but the dealer said they just announced they are no longer bringing it to the US.  No Norge in 2010.  I wonder if that means the new version will also stay Euro only.

Service intervals on Guzzis tend to be 6,000 miles...at least they are on my Griso. the Norge may be higher, but the engine is very similar. The services are very easy though. The cylinders are right there...and the valves are very simple springs so adjustment is easy. It seems like most people do the maintenance themselves.

They also don't feel as heavy as they actually are.
