After my morning coffee run I was looking at the Monster...and started wondering what she would look like without the beer tray...the license plate recessed under the seat etc, etc.

Anyone done this, or similar?

Pics?

Thanks

Well after knowing the to search "tail chop"  I have found a wealth of info!!
Thanks again.

To me it looks like the competitionwerkes kit would be the best for me

retains the seat latch & turn signals, I only think that I would like signals that were a little more tucked in under the seat
any suggestions?

Alot of folks go with integrated tail lights, but there are several companies that make smaller turn signals.

Grandpa thanks...I like those!!

But after further scrutiny, I am not sure how it would look with my dual exhaust tips going out further than the tail itself!!? Huh?

After looking at your bike 1KDS, what pipes are you running are those available for a 98' M900?

Thanks all!!

you could make your own for pretty cheap. check the tutorials

I also have a few ones made in my workshop if your not looking to spend $100 on a whole kit. It really is just a sheet of metal bent in the right places.

I just logged on, it is minnesotamonster's bike.  It was the quickest best looking example of a tail chop.  It looks to me like an automotive tail pipe, probably pretty loud.  There are tons of exhausts out there for your bike.  Here is a thread of bike pics maybe start there.

An alternative to the stalk style turn signals or integrated
The how to gets very in depth but it is really quite simple
