It worked for Alfred Packer.

Alferd.  You should know better.  >:(
It's all in the grind, Sizemore. Can't be too fine, can't be too coarse. This, my friend, is a science. I mean you're looking at the guy that believed all the commercials. You know, about the "be all you can be." I made coffee through Desert Storm. I made coffee through Panama while everyone else got to fight, got to be a Ranger.

I found this one to be a little more entertaining.    :)

I would guess not much better than actual meat.

Makes me wonder...

1) How long do you think it'll be before someone tries culturing human cells into "meat"?

2) Would you try it, maybe with fava beans and a nice Chianti?

I remember PETA offering the X-poultry prize last year
PETA is now stepping in and offering a $1 million reward to the first scientist to produce and bring to market in vitro meat.  Why is PETA supporting this new technology? More than 40 billion chickens, fish, pigs, and cows are killed every year for food in the United States in horrific ways.

It leads me to wonder if there are no good concepts they can't co-opt and ruin.  They manage to almost ruin nudity in their own preachy, crackpot way.  People should not pose naked to promote the agendas of cute or delicious animals, but because they want to, or they have very low standards.  Preferably, low standards.

In conclusion, I am very surprised that I am the first one to mention bacon, turkey bacon, or artificial turkey bacon.

I do not acknowledge the existence of this "turkey bacon" you speak of.

I wonder if PETA realizes that most of these tissue cultures are grown with fetal bovine serum or something similar. [roll]

Don't go bringing logic into it.
If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.
