Bugger.... the Evil One within is speaking to me again.....and the two words he whispers incessantly are "boom tubes".....  I love this look on M1100 >>
<<  but living as I do in the People's Republic of Victoria, I fear eternal incarceration if I I'm found to be violating noise regulations with my drive-by window-shattering mobile Thunder Box.  So when compared to Termis, how loud are we talking? Anybody?

They are loud, but Mark can make different "baffles."  After the holidays, I'm going to order another set to quiet things down a bit.

The look, fitment and weight savings are great.

P.S. is the vertical cylinder header missing in that pic?   ???

As pompetta said, Mark can make baffles to make them as loud or quiet as you like.

I can't wait until Marquez gets on his level and makes Jorge trip on his tampon string.

If you don't already know - MotoCreations are making a new line of exhausts, keeping the boom and adding bass.
Wait/save for that?

That's what I'm waiting for.  Going to be called the monoBOOM and Mark says teaser pics next month.

New bikes each of us.

- clip-ons (you old Tall Boys)

He Man

quiet low bass boomtubes? WANT. Love the low thudding sound of termis, but Boom tubes are way to loud.

Raux

if you research the testing method and db limit, I bet Mark could test some baffles that could meet your limits.

He Man

he said it would be the 95db range max. im assuming thats as loud as it gets for the regular way they test for sound. at a certain distance, at a certain RPM. it would certainly be above 100db while riding...which is fine for me.

ProTeal55

My clutch is def. lounder than my boomtubes at idle.
Cruisin around on the street the bike hsa a def. growl to it, but nothing worse than a HD.
On the tollway under throttle is where the pipes really scream (and sound soooooo good)  ;D
