I thought the DP ECU eliminated the use of the O2 sensor anyway...
apparently not. only on the full termi system for the 1100.
we talked about this in another thread i think. stock, slipon DP ECU (with o2) and full DP ECU (no o2)
but.... found a company working on a full remap of the Siemens ECU. will let you know as I learn more.

Seems like neither DP ECU eliminates the o2 sensors >>

You guys and your O2 sensors....and your lambda smambda....and your ECU's....and your back pressure. Face reality boys. Our bikes are much too fast! And much too pretty to grace the passerby's with nothing but a blur. Make them loud, make them look good, and ride by slow for the world to admire. Oh yea, and try your best to act like you don't notice!

Somebody on another post asked how to mount an I-Phone to a Monster. Are you serious? Get some Boom Tubes and you will be hearing the sweetest music on the planet!

Has Mark said if the new Mono Tubes will be available for the S*R series, specifically the S2R 800?

" We will do the big single outlet the same as were the BoomTubes exit. It's @10db quieter and a louder "boom". It also weights @4lbs more than BoomTubes due to the packing within. No pictures until we are done testing. I'm building a set for the M1100 and Hypermotard currently and will test on those with the "test crew" for awhile. We are probably 90+ days out before we get these finished. I also want to test a carbonfiber tube section as it resonates differently. FYI -- I won't be doing these for the S4RS/T at all -- we will only do for the M1100, M696, Hypermotard initially and followed by the S2R800/S2R1000 later."
Looks like your in luck, I was checking on it for my S4RS/T

I've been considering these myself for my S2R 1K. Do you notice any performance differences?

i only rode it around my neighborhood as its not insured right now, but with no other modifications or even a tune, the low end does suffer. but thats expected without a tune.

So another $500 for a tune or $80 for an O2 manipulator. What do you think it will take to solve the problem. My S2R runs sooooooo dam good stock that I'm almost afraid to mess with it. I'm also thinking of just purchasing the Marving Cat eliminator anong with an O2 manipulator for about $400 total.

ill probably get a powercommander 3. i cant remember if they make one for s2r1ks. i got the exhaust for looks more then anything. mark is working with me to lower the noise. apparently running lean and cold temps greatly affect loudness.

"Yelling out of cars, turning your speakers out the window to blast your music onto the street, setting off M-80 firecrackers, firing automatic weapons into the air—these are all well and good. But none of them create a merry atmosphere of insouciance and bonhomie quite like a revving motorcycle.
