Hey guys, lady friend picked me up a track stand for xmas  Grin single sided of course. Now, as there's no 'locking' mechanism to keep the bike on the pin, am i asking for trouble by leaving the bike on it for days on end??

nope, nothing to worry about, mine has sat on it day in day out for the last 6 years as did my 748sp before that. the weight of the bike sits on the rear axle so unless some bonehead DELIBERATELY pushes it off it won't go anywhere.

I have an Anderson Stand with wheels which allows me to move the bike around the garage.......really cool. Never had a problem - stable as.

Keep your eye out someone on the board has a new design stand that will break cover soon.
Looks fantastic and works a treat too.

Yep,The first working prototype is finished. It can be used on both sides of the bike so you can work on the sprocket side or the wheel side. They will be going into production in 2 weeks.
Anyone that is interested let me know.
