You are all over the place.   It is fun to appreciate all sorts of bikes.  I forgot what you were originally looking for?

As a life long HD guy, I've neve cared for these types of customs, yet this one does have some nice aspects to it.  The black helps of course.

However, I'll bet that the primary drive on that thing weighs more than the engine in my S4RS.

I was just lookin. lol. Not going to buy an HD for a very, very long time. I was first looking to buy an 03 M800 about three months ago. I found one, made a deal with the guy for $1500, had not brought cash and lost the deal when the uy backed out a week later and kept it to fix himself. I was so bummed(I fell in love), that I just bought the first bike I could find that I liked for $800(Yamaha Radian). It's a good first bike, but there are alot of things I'm not in love with about it. So I'm just looking for any Ducati in a low price range that I can find.

Hah...

Will consider partial trades + cash:

heritage springer or a Prius or insight or BMW GS 1200 or 800

On the Prius forums, in an alternate universe, someone has posted a thread:
"Thinking of trading up, what do you think?"

The Tiawan built RevTech engine is a copy of the HD Evo engine.  So the engine design is HD.

that's just the way it is, all the old school designs are being picked up by foreign makers.  the AMC Powertech 4.0 I6 in all those Jeeps is now being made in China for the chinese versions of the Jeeps... and apparently is frigging awesome since they retooled everything with CNC lathes.

it's a shame they are enjoying that engine and we can't get it at all.

That's like saying you can call the Hyosung a Ducati because they copied the design...

The RevTech engine's design is a copy of the HD Evo engine.  It can not be stated in any other terms without distorting the fact.
