How do I re-start my Duc after...
«

How do I re-start my 999 after I've had the tank removed?
Put the tank back then add some gas
would be the best thing, clearly
but is there some trick to it other than that because of the fuel injection?
I'm just getting the bodywork back from clear-coating and will start re-assembling my SBK this weekend; the tank will be the first thing to go back on...

Yep, kind of along the lines of Svoloch's Xerox bike, only different... Thematically, it's a MotoGP Commemorative World Championship Marlboro scheme from Stoner's bike in '07. There is not a single panel left that didn't have a sticker on it so EVERYTHING but the wheels got clear-coated.
I'm in the process of taking some pix and will post 'em up when I can.

Yep. Patrick was the painter who did the work... The guy's an artisit. If there was a flaw on it when I got the panel back, it was because it was there when I brought it in (that's the problem with doing this sort of thing on four year old bodywork
).
I'm very happy with the work
I can highly recommend Texas Body Works

to answer the original question, there's nothing extraneous that you need to worry about, hook up the lines and electrics and you're good to go

Shouldn't be a problem as long as you plug everything back in ie: fuel pump fuel lines

You'll hear the air burp out of the fuel injector lines as soon as you roll the key on.
It sounds a little wierd, but it's normal.

+1. Nothing special, make sure you don't have hose ends that make you think "this one must be extra..."

+1. Short of a loose or blown fuel pump fuse, Ducs are pretty bullet-proof in that regard.
